Character background: Elizabeth or Lizzie was born as the middle of three daughters to Jasmine and Thomas King, both of whom are purebloods. She has a good relationship with her sister Melissa, who is older than Lizzie by three years, and the two share a love of Quidditch. Lizzie often finds her sister Lucy, who is younger by four years, annoying but despite the frequent arguments she cares deeply for Lucy.
The Sorting Hat was quick to sort Lizzie into Ravenclaw, despite her older sister Melissa being a Gryffindor. There is a friendly house rivalry between the two sisters, but it is all in jest. Lizzie has strong hopes of getting a place on the Ravenclaw quidditch team, as she has always wanted to participate in the sport.
