Character background:
Emery was sold when he was a child, never knowing why his Father did so, or why his Mother just stood on the side and watched. And maybe, he' never will. Fortunately, he was sold to a good family, though he tried his best to emotionally distance himself from them. They would always dress his up in girl clothes, and making him grow his hair out long and... well maybe it was not so fortunate.
To get away from them all, he went into the modeling business, making his name grow until he was the cover 'boy' of 'Hot to Touch.' A magazine featuring the most beautifulest. Again, he curses his luck, as he was mostly seen wearing lingerie and other womanly clothes... then he just had to find out he was gay. Most men already thought he was female, so they felt... 'betrayed?' was it? That the woman they went after was actually a guy.
Emery dislikes everyone. Never wanting to get close after all these years though he still does modeling, he doesn't want to. So he decided to, after finishing up and studying from hired tutors, to be a teacher. After all, he was teaching kids. What could go wrong... dammit.
(Extra: He met Jose on a fashion shoot in the forests near this huge lake/waterfall. Emery played nurse to the little guy after finding him trapped in a net, gaining the small and feisty animal's trust after two months. Ironically enough, Jose became a rock for him, then his familiar.)
