Character background: Alastair was born in Germany to a German father and a Irish mother. His parents were both madly in love, but Alastair's mother was muggle born and Alastair's father was a pureblood, they ran away to Ireland together, leaving everyone else behind. Alastair's father had gone to Durmstrang and Alastair's mother had gone to Hogwarts, but they both agreed that Alastair would do better in Durmstang.

Alastair is close to the both of his parents, his mother is always there for him and his father teaches him wonderful things.

Alastair thrived in Durmstrang, he was strong and fast and had a natural talent for the dark arts and Potions, not to mention that he was skinny and light enough to be a great seeker for the school Quidditch team.
He is very competitive and wants to win everything but Alastair does have a kind heart, really.
